Actually, before doing the brute force, they usually go to the boot menu of the phone then change the limit of trial of unlocking the phone from 3 or 5 to some bigger number, then left for doing the brute force for some time.

You can use brute force by changing the number of attempts before your phone will get a timer. You can do so by changing the log file in system data either by your pc or by rooting the device via sideload. Correct me if I'm wrong👍

Brute force can still be applied. There is a way to go inside system bios and change the try pin to a large number instead of 5. I don't know whether it work now or not. But in android it used to work earlier.

You are right but you can remove that lockdown easily by using adb, so that lets you brute force infinitely, All you need is to access the rom, find the file that contains the lockscreens security patch and change the hex value to false. I tried it and it works, generally android phones are easier to do this but when tried on my iphone it didn't really work and even tho it kinda did it literally broke my entire phone... So isnt worth it unless your phone contains a bitcoin XD

First of all Brute Force is possible in iPhone. You have to change the value of a file which stores the number of possible tries and change it to using pc.

There is a way to bypass no. Of attempts you to unlock and then use brute force. So basically there is no limit to using passcode attempts😊
