I saw that this MEP was open and I just couldn't resist because I LOVE this song and I had the urge to edit with Frodo Baggins again for a quick video lol

For some reason I always end up with part 11 haha - this time where I could still work with the lyrics ("(...) undo this mistake, at least I've gotta try, the capillaries in my eyes are bursting, If our love died, would that be the worst thing? For somebody (...)"). The first clips with Frodo accidentally revealing the ring when trying to stop Pippin has kind of a double-meaning: By trying to undo one mistake (actually Pippin's mistake) he makes his own accidental mistake (ring slipping on his finger), which directly transitions to him standing at the lake, where Frodo decides that he'll "undo his mistake" all on his own to save his friends and so he manages to bring up the courage and determination to go to Mordor alone to save his friends (which of course happens differently lol). I played around a bit with the meaning of "the capillaries in my eyes are bursting", where the "bursting" is Gimli throwing his axe onto the ring, which causes Frodo to feel unwell and see Sauron's... well, just one eye. The love that dies between Frodo and Gandalf is obviously a friendship and somewhat (grand)fatherly one in contrast to the song, but I found it suitable since Gandalf actually dies. "Would that be the worst thing?" is also what Frodo thinks about leaving Sam after thinking he betrayed him and... well, the last clip with Faramir ended up being just lip-synch, but also the entire verse "For somebody I thought was my saviour..." suits the power dynamic between the two.
For transitions I only used simple blending ones because they were the most suitable ones and I turned the saturation down to give it all a more appropriate melancholic feeling and I quite like how this quick MEP part turned out!

I know this song is about misogyny, but still think the main expression "You make me do too much labour" fits how Frodo is basically forced into carrying and destroying the ring by people who are way more powerful than him, while the whole thing leaves him deeply wounded and unable to recover
