5 Tallest Buildings In The World!

For over 3,800 years, the great pyramid of Giza held the title as the tallest structure in the world.
It never held the title for the tallest building since it wasn't habitable.
In this list we'll be showing you the 5 tallest buildings in the world.
We would like to give a big shoutout to viewer Gyo Kamata for suggesting this video.
For this video we'll be using the Height to pinnacle measurement, which measures from the bottom, to the highest point of the building & not to just it's roof.

5) Willis Tower
The oldest building on the list, the Willis Tower was completed in 1974 and has 108 floors.
However it's old age doesn't mean it's not impressive.
Standing at 527.0 m or 1,729 ft, it sure is very tall.
This Chicago tower mainly houses offices, but does have an observation deck along with restaurants & stores.
4) One World Trade Center
Built to replace the previous World Trade Centers, this building has come back bigger & stronger than ever.
Called both the Freedom Tower and One World Trade Center, it was completed in July 2013, and stands at 546 m or 1,792 ft.
With 104 floors of prime New York commercial real estate, inside you'll mainly find offices just as before.
It does have a shopping mall & observation deck to give you an awesome view of Lower Manhattan.
3) Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower
Built in 2012 this Big Ben on steroids is the tallest clock tower in the world & also the has the world’s largest clock-face.
It's 601 m high or 1,971 ft, and is made up of 120 floors.
It is a obviously a clock tower but it's used for more than just to tell the time.
Inside you'll find high end hotels, residential apartments, a shopping mall & food courts.
2) Shanghai Tower
Completed only a few weeks back in September 2015, the Shanghai Tower jumps directly to spot two.
It's 632 m or 2,073 ft, and has 123 floors.
It is the tallest building in China, and is home to high end stores, offices, and hotels.
During it's construction, two Russian urban explores recorded themselves climbing the unfinished tower & uploaded it to YouTube.
The video titled Shanghai Tower (650 meters) went viral & to date has had over 46 million views.
1) Burj Khalifa
Completed in 2009 the Burj Khalifa, previously known as the Burj Dubai, is the tallest building in the world.
Standing at an impressive 828m or 2,717 feet, it has 163 floors and took 5 years to build.
You may recognize the Burj Khalifa as the building Tom Cruise was hanging from in the film Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
Inside you'll find an observation deck giving you possibly the most fantastic view know to man, along with luxury offices, apartments, hotels & of course restaurants & high end stores.
