A bamboo fence is a great way to add privacy to your backyard. They are pretty simple to setup and can be done in a few hours.

Materials and tools needed:

0.75in D x 6ft H x 8ft L bamboo fencing

2 ½” screws

Dewalt impact driver

Drill bit and screw driver set

Cement

L brackets for 2x4’s

Pressure treated fence post

2x4’s

A common use is to mount the bamboo fencing on an existing chain link fence.
One tip is to mount them a few inches off the ground to help prevent moisture rot along on the bottom from rain.

I have chain link fencing all around my property. What do you think using bamboo fencing over the chain link? seems simple and cost effective. But im going to need over 500ft of bamboo fencing. will this look good? ugh please help lol

I'm trying to do the same thing, problem because my neighbor has dogs that she allows to yelp, cry and bark... I've had to get the police involved, but they will only do so much, so now she stands or sits in a chair while they yelp, cry and bark at me...

After 2 years of posting this. I kind of installed mine at the same time. And it looks terrible shape now condition wise.
I live in Florida so tropical weather but was wondering if yours is still in good shape or same experience
