This song suddenly popped into my head. My dad loved this lady and when he sang her songs, i used to hide behind the door and snicker because his singing voice was so awful. I knew a lot of songs from my parents' generation and i am the richer for it

Whew! - let's just say it: Ms. Dionne is smokin' hot cool on this one! - seems to me some sort of incredible magic happened when she crossed paths w. Burt Bacharach and Hal David - for example, in this instance they took a little pop ditty that could have stayed in the typical teenager plaintive genre up into a whole new stratosphere of grown-up, almost operatic, style and depth of elegant expression and performance full-length head-to-toe - Olympian magic of the gods, and goddesses, that's the only explanation - that and and the one of kind talent of Ms. Warwick, talk about an "it" girl! :-) thx for sharing this video!
