Sneak peek from Stuart White's "Inside the Track " series, in which he shows you how he mixed the song "Becker" by Autolux.

We are proud to release our first video series with Grammy-winning engineer Stuart White! After a full playthrough of the song ‘Becker’ by Autolux, he dives into all aspects of the Pro Tools session. Having mixed the record in the box, White revisits the routing and processing implemented to create a sonically intricate and gritty result that oozes with character! He discusses the material given to him by the band, explains why he committed to certain sounds, and demonstrates the differences made by bypassing and reactivating plug-ins used. Treatments include subtractive notch EQ, multi-band & sidechain compression, low-end mono summing, pan automation, vocal effects, subharmonic synthesis, and more. White also reveals his unorthodox mix processing, which comprises multiple stereo busses blended in parallel and routed to a final ‘limiter’ channel.

Watched this entire series. Probably one of the best from MWTM. I'd love to see Stuart White do an entire mix on an episode.

1971 Stuart and his sister Tracy White used to live on Oakwood St., Orange, CA 92869. His parents had a rocking Playboy collection my sister used to study. She was 5. I was not allowed over there. Stuart White used to throw lemons at me from a couple hundred feet away, never coming close. Weird dude. I never reacted violently towards him. Obvious to me, my sister tried to make him a hit man. He didn't get into that character, as you can see in the video. She got some other guy to smash my head against the cement. Then another to choke me out. Is it the White family that made her a manipulator? This means the Hollywood crowd is a cult of psychopathy and it takes Aldus Huxley inspired parents to make it happen. Rockstarophobia is the best attitude to have. Media is a lie.
