"ONE EMPIRE, ONE GOD, ONE EMPEROR!!!"
*War Cry of Constantine during the war against Licinius*

Constantine the Based is a fitting nickname for this absolute legend.

Who cares, Constantine the based abolished the Pra*torian Guard, which is enough for him to be a Saint.

I don't think Christian zeal is the reason most ancient temples were destroyed hundreds of years later. Even the gigantic temple of Artemis was converted to a church before it was damaged by an earthquake.

Roman polytheism was basically dead by this point. That's why Christianity was able to spread so easily and with such speed across the Empire.

I didn't know it was possible to admire Constantine even more

There’s a reason he’s Constantine The Great.

That's why he's the best Roman emperor.

I love how the video tries to paint Constantine in a bad light but all of the comments collectively agree that the dude was a based Chad.

This is why I strive to surpass Constantine in being intolerant of the pagangs

We could use Diocletian's spinning body to power our civilization until the heat death of the universe

Actually Constantine built also a lot of pagan temples in Constantenipole itself and other cities. He gave religious freedom to all religions even neo platonists got their freedom when they were considered as atheists and prohibited to appear. the only cult who were prohibited were Donatists who were against Roman empire and also prohibit sacred prostitution which good thing not bad

later Constantine conversion lead shape Europe and western civilization

What I hate too is that they say, “but Christianity isn’t what made the Eastern Roman Empire great/last longer” like yeah MAYBE but neither did paganism make the Western Roman Empire better. These were just savage brutal people who hid their corrupted insides in the shiny vernier of Roman aesthetics.
Many of the stoics in record have a philosophy more akin to Christ in the Bible than they do to any of their fellow pagans during that time. Even Hadrian singled out Antoninus as his successor because he saw that he wasn’t power hungry and resentful towards his father; while most other pagan Roman officials at the time would’ve gladly murdered their father if he was an obstacle to them.

Stop making comments about how Constantine was based, I can't like them all.

If paganism were a person then this comments section would murder it via drawing and quartering

A) Based

B) Still not nearly as harsh as what the pagans did before

The _Fourth_ video regarding Christianity vs Paganism. The _Fourth_ Holy War is about to erupt in the comments section. The _Fourth_ Crusade. Very foreboding. Crosses and fedoras shall cross paths, blotting out the sun, darkening the sky! Fingers on the keyboards, everybody. This is gonna get heavy.

_Reaches over for more popcorn, soda and candy_
