DJI Mini 3 Pro Arm and Axis Replacement Step-by-Step Tutorial

I'll walk you through the step-by-step process of change Drone Arm and arm shaft. It not easy because we have to take out most of the part aways to get in to ESC that control the Wing Motors.

Also that last step with the two gimbal covers was nuts. Took forever to get the two small crappy plastic covers on the sides

Thanks for the tutorial. In fear for screwing it all up, i cut the wires and soldiered on the new arm. It worked fine.

Top notch and detailed photography. Slow down the playback speed to easily follow. Don’t try this yourself if you’ve never done sub-miniature component work…..you’re gonna end up with a paperweight

One thing I did not follow: at 3:30 you can see the RIPPED PLASTIC which I did not want to do. You could do it this way:

- do not remove the motherboard on the uppder side. Let it there where it is. This way you do not have to rip the plastic.
- only remove the orange antenna cable from the motherboard.
- do not pull out the board for soldering the three cables (red, black, white) from above but from the bottom side.
- switch to the open botton side of the (open) body and pull out the board for the three cables just a bit (approx 5 mm) for soldering.
- remove and solder the cables from the bottom side.
Downside of this way is, that the small board for your cables nearly sticks in place and you have to be more carefully when soldering. In my case before soldering I covered those parts of the plastic of the body with small leather stripes, where there could be danger of melting the the body with the soldering iron. Worked well, but you have to be more skilled when soldering.
By the way: for glueing/fixing the cables on the body I used 'Stormsurge'. Workes great.

Well thats me fooked that looks really hard and iv just broke the end of 1 of my arms im going to try superglue and baking soda first. Looking forward til tomorrow to sort my drone out.

For those asking, the black stuff was glue. The blue stuff is the thermal paste. That should have been scraped off then reapplied to stop over heating.

at 0:47 when removing the bottom plate it casually rips off a black connection bridge that is glued to the back of the plate, and you reassemble it without ever mentioning this. what is going on with that part??

hey utubers and dji lovers when doing repairs the best way 2 remove glue stick is rubbing alcohol it will remove it clean and no effort works great....
