To everyone that are experiencing errors everytime they use the ''clean'' command simply use convert gpt and try again, the clean command should work now.
After that you could simply format the flash drive directly from the disk management window to make your drive usable again

2022 here and its incredibly work, after I put command "convert gpt" after select drive.

My usb got corrupted a few months ago and would only allow me to write about 400mb or so. Tried to reformat in the hopes that might fix things. Drive got locked up and all kinds of screwed up. Your method worked great for me! Got full size of my drive back and it's working great. Thanks!
