Scuba Diving El Águila Shipwreck! Roatán, Honduras

Показать описание
Explore the epic shipwreck of El Águila -- meaning "The Eagle" in Spanish -- met its final resting place off the coast of Roatán. Originally sunk as an artificial reef, this 230 foot vessel was broken up into three large sections by Hurricane Mitch in 1998 which only created a stunning underwater playground for divers. Now, it's home to vibrant marine life making it one of Roatán's most iconic dive sites.
Through out this video, you'll witness footage of the wreck -- including clips from PADI Course Director Tim Goulah, which are marked with his name in the bottom left-hand corner.
At the end of the dive, we'll ascend for a brief but incredible shallow dive -- where the adventure continues with mesmerizing marine life and vibrant coral formations. You'll see footage of reef silhouettes, illuminated by the sunlight streaming down from the surface -- a reminder of the ocean's endless beauty.
