One of the hardest things to learn with crochet is tension I noticed you curling your finger I’d recommend keeping it pointed I hold my yarn between my pinky and pointer to do that have your palm face up and place the yarn between your pinky, and then flip your hand over and place the yarn between your pointer finger then pinch the yarn with your thumb and your middle finger that helps to creat tension even though it feels really awkward at first hope this helps and don’t worry if it doesn’t work at first it takes practice keep up the good work

haha, i remember when i first started to crochet !! we all started here 😆 lil' tip btw when u crochet don't make the loop too big !! so constantly pull the yarn w the hand that ur not using for the hook. also the hook is probs detaching from the yarn when u chain bc ur not twisting the hook as your chaining ✧⁺⸜(･ ᗜ ･ )⸝⁺✧
