Just started online classes a few weeks ago here in Fiji and today I had Mathematics involving this topic of z-scores and my teacher didnt explain very well. I'm grateful for this explanation. Have a great day :)

Wow, statistics is currently frustrating, but I'm so glad I took the initiative in looking for YT vids and finding this video. When you broke it down into words, I was like "Ohhh!!! that's why the formula is what it is, that's what the z value represents on the graph, and that's why the shading takes place in this direction!". Sometimes the words are all one needs, and it wasn't fair bc the professor used temperature as his only examples bc at first i was confused how this plays out using nonzero numbers "ie. having 200 counting as the mean and working from that, but your example was almost exactly like my hw problem and the jungle that was my mind all of a sudden untangled itself and it clicked. All this to you haha. You have just earned a subscriber

This was pretty helpful, like really!

Though this is not part of this lesson I do have a something to ask
It's still statistics

Let's say you need to find

P (z > 1.92)
P (z <1.92)
P (z > -1.92)
P (z < -1.92)

Found this in my sister's textbook and tried to answer it but I got stumped hard.

Like, they have the same answers, or I'm missing something (I pick the latter part)

Again, really enjoyed this video!

Hi! Thank you for making this video, it really helps
I want to ask, what if we got a z score greater than 4? is there any equation of it?

Is it possible to calculate the probability using z score without table ???..BTW Thanks for the crystal clear explanation

I'm struggling with a problem. Find the corresponding z-scores. Which baby weighs relatively more? Select the correct choice below and fill in the answer boxes to complete your choice. If I'm comparing Z zones. 3375-3000/900 =.416 and 3775-3400/560=.669 I have one come out to .416 and the other .669, which number is larger?

Hello.. thank you for that explanation. May I ask what could be the formula if only x is given? Thank you.
