When I took my shahada I was crying a lot too and I totally wasn’t expecting that reaction. I thought, “okay, I want to be Muslim now, I’m going to say the shahada at the masjid and then I’ll be Muslim, easy”.

I never cry in front of anybody let alone a room full of strangers. And after I took my shahada and my friend gave me a hug I just started crying and I didn’t even understand why. And afterwards I felt so exhausted it was one of the most exhausted times I ever felt in my life.
Also right before my shahada I became extremely nervous. I’m not shy and I have no problem speaking in front of people. But for some reason I felt like I could barely even move my legs.

Did anybody else have this kind of physical reaction?

Mr. Yusuf Estes is also a convert to Islam. He used to be a Christian pastor. Mashaallah I witnessed Yusuf Estes gave shahadah to 3 more new muslim Live! He is truly a great muslim and he has such a big love for Islam. My kids just love him as well.

they always have that look on their face. the look of " I'm finally back home " . It was said that Allah S.w.t has asked every soul before they are even born, "Am I not your God? " and we all did say " Yes, You are our God ". Then we ventured into this world in our merry ways and most of us are lost since the start as a test by Allah S.w.t . You could only imagine how hard the soul was searching for Allah S.w.t in the blindness of the world, once it did find Allah S.W.T, no one could stop their tears of happiness. Truly their soul remembered Allah S.W.T every second, they were only searching for Him.
