Traditional Threshing of Paddy:

Hi Friends,
In this short video you can see that the farmers were busy threshing paddy manually. Now-a-days, most of the farmers thresh paddy either by powered paddy thresher or by manual paddy thresher. If paddy is harvested through paddy harvester, then threshing is done automatically but needs sun drying of grains. But when paddy is threshwd manually, it doesn't need drying as the grains become almost dry before threshing.

But in this short video we tried to show you how paddy is threshed traditionally. They beat paddy bundles on a flat wooden log. It's tiring and laborious too. But we see this method seldomly. So please watch and enjoy.
