Finding fellow Molina fans makes me feel like the world is OK after all.

I miss Jason Molina all the time. Not just when i listen to him, either, all the time. I would say he left us too soon, but the musical catalog he left behind is so vast and deep. We were lucky to have him.

Thanks to Radio 3 Night tracks I have just discovered Jason Molina - what a brittle, transient, beautiful player and singer. RIP JM

"the perfect take is just as long as the person singing is still alive." oh man, you hit me hard there

The vocal performance on some of these tracks are outstanding, like in Be Told the Truth. Wow... That song plus Old Worry, Thistle Blue, and Whisper Away are going to stay with me for a long, long time...

Thank you for all the feelings, the crossroads, the scarecrow's heart and the beautiful emptiness your voice will always fill.

Great upload. Audio Quality is excellent. Thank you for that.
Jason Molina is a good artist to listen to on CD or FLAC. He recorded on live sessions so you can hear all the unfiltered background sounds and cracking of chairs, intruments, etc. Just as if you were there in the room with him. Jason Molina is one of my favorite folk singer of all time.

in paul celan's last poetry, his final meta poems, his sentences dried to seeds, sparse
eloquent skinny lightning, a crack across a teacup
jason sings out a calling here, these songs are occult in the truest sense, they distill, they transform, he can sing one song within 4 sentences
it's in his slow weaving vocals and looming finger work that transcends this above music to MUSICK
his words/ lyrics here mean nothing but an exhaling, a constant out breathing of honesty
it leaves us to here, standing on his tapestry

Jason, your music stayed with me when the other music from that era has long faded. To me, you're just another good ol boy workin hard at the mill. We miss you and there's always an empty trailer out back if you need a place to get clean or a place to get drunk and scream.

I saw Magnolia Electric Co. perform at 7th street entry in Minneapolis over a decade ago, but it seems like only last week. Jason was such an amazing talent.

Together we attained a stain on your lips, so we refrain - a sign like black skies with the stars looking like I do. A star room fills me with those words like lies, but we know who really let the moon roll in.

Miss you so much, Jason Molina...
(Did two people really did put thumbs down ? Seriously, was that really necessary ? )
