Darlow at Newcastle is one of many back up GKs in the epl that could be persuaded to take a pay cut to be number 1 for a club. Starfelt and Taylor never made many mistakes last season but their positions could be MASSIVELY upgraded. Rumours surrounding Abada should be made crystal clear. From the wing he has the potential to be a 1 in 2 player. Look at his minutes per goal ratio.

Paul, i don't disagree about Hart because he is not the best with his feet & if you want to progress then that is the main issue. However, Seigrist did very well at United, do you think he has been given a decent look to find out if he is good enough to be number 1?

For me leftback is an obvious area that needs improvement. Taylor has been immense but still when it comes to Europe I think he's not quite at that level. Johnson on the right has been such a great signing, if we could get a leftback in a similar mould to him, then we could have great balance for those big European nights.

I know Abada was out the door if Ange was still in charge. He's young and probably has at least 2 contracts in him. Moving him would make business sense. That being said; I think he fits BRs style of play better than Maeda. Might be a good idea to keep him as a Scott Sinclair 2.0. He's always had goals in him.

Using CCV 's as an example , when we dropped points, if we lose several key players to Injury or suspension etc, we still require atleast 6 positions for quality reinforcements, GK LB CB RB, WINGER AND A CF, maybe an attacking mid too, let our loaned out signings leave ... and give Ange Bernabae and Kobayashi HH
