Jack Mallers On Why Bitcoin Is Revolutionary

Watch the full Jack Mallers episode here:

In a discussion between Zuby and Jack Mallers, they explore the relationship between better forms of money, like Bitcoin, and societal issues such as family formation, civil unrest, and economic inequality. Mallers explains that inflation and currency debasement disproportionately affect those who hold devalued currency, forcing them to work harder for a sustainable life, while those with assets benefit from inflation.

This dynamic leads to a disgruntled populace and civil unrest. Mallers argues that Bitcoin, with its fixed supply and decentralized nature, offers a solution by preventing central control and inflation. He believes Bitcoin ensures that wealth is earned and maintained through productive contributions to society, unlike the fiat system where wealth can be unfairly acquired and maintained through currency manipulation. This redistribution through price cycles ensures a fairer economic system, where those who contribute more to society retain their wealth.

The dollar is literally being destroyed / debased / devalued. The best performing asset in the history of the world is BITCOIN. BITCOIN is by far the best store of value. 10 years from now you’ll be thankful for every dollar you put into BITCOIN.

This is an awesome interview and a great break down. So many people really don’t understand what money really is…. I’m 46 years old and just learned 3 years ago.

Everyone wants to get rich off this stuff. But at the end of the day, the guy working and building things in the real world is the one creating real value.

Bitcoin is so beautiful in many ways that, given its properties, was first adopted by the people that realised that they are the ones suffering most with the current economic model and they had to go on and learn about this new hope to store their property.
It is literally a bottom to top revolution

I’ve never heard someone articulate that concept of needing to produce more than you consume in order to keep the same level of wealth on a bitcoin standard. So true and makes so much sense. There’s no “living off the interest” like the wealthy are able to do now in the fiat system. Granted, if you have enough BTC and assuming the price keeps going up forever, you’ll be selling off smaller and smaller chunks to sustain your lifestyle. But ultimately you’re still redistributing that wealth back into society if you’re not producing an equal or greater amount of value to society. I fuckin love Bitcoin.

I’m 52 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with above $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify my portfolio.

I can watch Mallers and Saylor talk for hours — their ability to zoom out & speak so fluidly on complex topics is fascinating.
