Thanks for the info brother. I just got my CDL-A recently and HazMat/Tanker endorsements and applied to Schneider for tanker training. Was getting the ball rolling and talking to the recruiter and found out they were only going to pay me $19.50 an hour! And $15.00 an hour accessorial pay! I know the training is good, but just WOW. I might just go dry van for a bit until I get some miles under my belt and take a look at one of these other companies you've listed. Thanks again!

Reading this makes me grateful on how good I have it with the company I work for. I am a diesel fleet driver that fuels trucks and I make in the mid 80's for a target w2. The weather where i live can make it hard at times, but I am home every night and the money is good so i don't complain. Getting paid by the hour is where it's at and the OT helps with averaging ten hours each week. Take care folks.

6:50 Thanks for the correction on Flyers. Gemini "Loves", Saratoga "Pilot F.J.", KAG, etc... And anything on the Westcoast from the Oregon Border to damn near Canada pay tops. If you like a lot of hours and home every night/day. Fuel is a good spot to be in. Pay range for new hires to experienced are between 85k to 100k+ per year gross* If your a good driver, understand basic math skills, and have some mechanical knowledge you can climb fast. Tank Wagon and Truck and Trailer both pay about the same now days. Wages go up every 1 to 3 years now especially in major metro areas. It's a good time!

I work at CBSL as an owner operator. Our company drivers defiantly make 100k + a year. Im not sure about Pasadena, TX or New Orleans, LA, but in Chicago its mainly Monday-Friday with some short, 120-180 mile runs, or rail work on the weekends if you wish to work weekends

I’m a superior driver out of the Portland Terminal. The company is a ESOP company now. We do have nice equipment and try out very best to keep it that way. Superior does pay very well.

I recently got hired on by Groendyke to drive chemicals over the road. I was hired on after working with the beer delivery for a 1yr verified and chemicals pay for than their refine(fuel) division. You gotta have your TWIC card and not be scared to drive around the country. The further the delivery the more the money. one trip from texas to new jersey and back pays 2200-2500 for those 4-5 days

Aye. Not to give myself competition, but marathon tankers make 130k + home every night. Problem is, allot of these high pay companies bait on Indeed and horde applications, then choose from 1200 candidates. Hey, if you wanna play the lottery can't hurt. Sheetz drivers, need 4 years experience creme of the crop. 109k 4 day work week. Talked to the man and he said he was selected among 1200 candidates, I assume marathon is pulling the same. Try it though why not. And yes flying j has there own fleet, 95-100k range.
