Another year has passed, the engine is completely rebuilt top to bottom (now 3.2 litres) and the body is awaiting in line for a full respray with all rust repaired. Subscribe to be kept up to date.

I was lazy leaving the f ailed pump dangling like that. I proceeded to drive around the backyard like that and burnt out 2 mas relays as the wiring dead shorted. I will make a video possibly tomorrow fixing them.

This red w124 and my good dark grey one were sold at the same dealer on the other side of the country and thats not all, the red one was the very next car sold after my grey one. What are the odds of this happening and 27 years later them being together again. How strange.

Hi, I also have w124 M104 300ce.
Last time I started it was 4 years ago. Just this year I cranked it and started, but after 5 minutes, the engine cuts off and won't start again. I was thinking to replace the fuel pumps and filter, but replaced them 4 years ago. Any thoughts where I should look? Thanks

Hello, i have a w124 300ce 24 valve car and every time i start it (cold or hot) my engine revs up to 2500 rpm without me using the gas pedal and if i put it on drive the rpm goes to a 1000, if i turn the car off and on the problem disappears but sometimes it would just come back on its own while driving any idea why? could it be be the engine wiring? my car has 400, 000 km on it and runs perfectly except for this issue..
