My front door opens right to my couch. I thought i should put a divider so the outside energy doesn't go right to my couch. If i put a dovider, can it be any type? A solid divider?.. an open shelf with plants?, etc

My door opens to a wide open room and opposite the front door are glass doors to see outside. I can’t build a wall or put up a divider. What else could I do?
