Note: When the teacher says it's a heavy sound, it's not quite accurate. The first is dental sound, the second is retroflex sound. Your tongue needs to be in different positions in your mouth during pronunciation. Dental = tongue at back top of teeth. Retroflex "Heavy": tongue at middle top of the mouth.
