This scenario is interesting because, unlike previous eras of technological breakthrough where the employers laid off workers for being redundant in the face of better tools, now everyone has access to the same tools the employers have for either free or cheap, and now those employers and owners of production are also at risk of being redundant.

I don't believe coding is one of them. Problem-solving, out-of-the-box thinking and entrepreneurial skills however, sound much more promising.

The near future coder will probably be more of a conceptual project planer kind of guy and tell the ai that then specializes in writing code in many cases. In the long term however, the ai will be doing more and more of that job as well. That the ai will take away all the coding jobs however is unlikely until the emergence of a superintelligence ai. At which point ai could do probably anything better than humans...

If AI will replace all human coders completely in the coming 5 years, the other knowledge based jobs will follow soon. The manual labour perhaps take double the time and there will be no more wage jobs left for the majority population. However, humankind instead of getting panicked, need to celebrate for reaching to this historical stage of getting totally liberated from the drudgery of human labour in order to obtains thier livelihood.

The Zero Work theory; opposed the Marxian concept of "class exploitation" carried out by the capitalist on the working class. Therefore the proletarian (labouring) class must over-through the capitalist class (system) to abolish the capitalist class to establish a socialist or communist (proletarian dictatorship) state, where no labour exploitation on working class can exist.
The Zero Work for future humanity is far more relevant in todays technological world situation opposed to the Marxian over-through of the capitalist society in which the worker still remain as the work or wage slaves that many people still like to have.

The thing is human don’t want to be left over or feel useless! No one likes that. And even if we have many signs telling us there is a wall please slowdown, we prefer to fall for the adage to see is to believe!
At the pace where AI research and related technology are evolving, I’m not sure if we even have 5 years!
Covid show us one thing, if human have to choose between other humans and the economy growth, we’ll chose the later! Corporate greed is a real thing and everyone is talking only about growth
