Lots going on in this episode. I'll be unboxing two Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10s. I really like these micro crawlers that Axial has come out with and the C10 is my favorite of the SCX24 bodies they've offered so far.
Once the unboxing is done, I show how they handle on my micro crawler course I'm unveiling for the first time on video here. It's not done, but it was usable for the testing purposes. Hope you enjoy it.

f you don't have a local hobby shop but want an SCX24, I have included links below. These are affiliate links that help support my channel, but don't cost you anything extra:

I recently wanted to get into trail trucks/crawlers but when i went shopping here in Australia i lost my mind. Im on a disabled pension and base price for a quality truck was to much for me, but i saw these little scx24's and saw it had a healthy aftermarket. So i bought a deadbolt last night, and so my new hobby is born!.... cheers for the vid The Land Downunder

You inspired me to pick one up. This will be my first rock crawler. Thank you great video.

I like your course but I just use large rocks and stack them where I want. It's much easier to change around and you get a realistic surface. My favorite is a large granite boulder, I use that as my ultimate climb test.

Neat course man! I'm getting my green C10 tomorrow so I figured I'd check this out and get hyped. I love how my main concern about the green one was the chrome finish chipping and sure enough it chips haha. dang it! I feel like the adjustable shock mounts would help raise the body more and maybe get rid of the wheel rub.

that's a nice and tricky course, excellent… never seen the 1:24th scale crawlers in real, so i'm impressed by your video..!

I bought a SCX24 years ago. I probably drove it 10 minutes and then put it on the shelf. The charger that comes with it is more of a fire hazard than anything else. I always recommend using a proper balance charger.

The SCX24 is awesome! I have the JLU and it is a little beast. My 2 year old son loves driving it to. I think I need to make a course like that. Turned out awesome!

Like the course. And like the idea of able to move it around and change out parts. I might have to steal that idea.

I just bought the blue c10, it is amazing how much cooler it looks in person. But the tires rubbing on the body was to much for me . So I took some of the wheel wells out with my dremel tool and a light abrasive cylender bit . And what a difference In performance and it looks even better. I took off the chrome plastic front bumper and put on a aluminum black with the red anodized tow shackles that made a big difference in the ability for the tires to hit the rocks a bit more easily, instead of the bumper being in the way . Also made it look even more amassing. My grandkids and I set up a nice course out in the backyard and have so much fun . Even my 4 year old makes it around a fairly tough course without tuning over, Once in while . He gets so excited my 7 year old makes it quite often without a crash . I had to buy two more lol .

With these trucks back in stock, I have the green one coming today! Jeep still on the way. I observed your comment about the body rubbing the tires and plan to do a mod I saw elsewhere on Youtube where they just raise the body by raising the front body posts and lowering the rear body mounting bracket. It looked to work really well, and I like it because, as opposed to a full lift, it only raises the body which has a lighter mass than lifting the whole chassis.

I have a scx24 Jeep and I put o ring on the shock to act as a spacer between the spring and shock body because the body rubbed a bit on the fenders also . I also relocated the top shock position to bolt holes on the frame instead of the shock perch and it climbs so much better. Wheel weights make so much of a difference they are definitely worth getting .

I made spacers for the springs to raise the body up to keep tires off the body
