I also had an NIV thinline that I really loved and was important in my faith formation. My mom took me to a bookstore to pick out a Bible for my 15th birthday (2004), and after soooo much pondering, I finally picked a navy blue NIV thinline, which I took *everywhere* until it started falling apart... it was duct-taped back together several times until I finally retired it in 2020, in favor of a Cambridge Pitt Minion NIV. But, man, I still miss that NIV thinline! I was so thrilled to see these premium editions of the NIV thinline (all thanks to your channel!) and my mom just gifted me the brown leather edition for Christmas. We've come full circle hahaha. Thanks for all your work on this channel-- it has totally helped me find some bibles that are right for me!

Love that brown with the blue under gold! I’ve been using an ESV/NLT combo of late, but grew up with the ‘84 NIV. Definitely makes me want to get one!

Wow!! Check out that art gilding on the coral. That is 😻 amazing!! 😊 Blue accents with the coral? Interesting?! To answer your question, Tim, I would buy the coral over the brown but not if it was my only Premier Edition Bible. I do wish they’d bring out more deep green Premiums

Glory to Jesus Christ! I pray your Advent Season is going blessedly. I was just looking for a NIV Thinline and lo and behold Christian Book had a clearance sale on the brown Bible in this video for $46.50 plus free shipping! I couldn’t resist and ordered one. I was especially excited to find that it’s blue under gold art gilding. I only have one Bible with that feature in your favorite - the Treveris. Finally! A truly premium NIV thinline! And in brown. I love the bold Color choices on the gilt and ribbons. It is so distinct! Not gonna lie, I ordered this as soon as I watched this video, 😂

I think the coral goatskin would be right up my wife’s alley.

The brown looks nearly identical to the Thomas Nelson NKJV Thinline in brown.

I adore thinlines for just easy travel and comfy reading. Have the Crossway ESV goatskin which has been great for me. I still have my zondervan study which is huge that I like to refer to, but it's a bit much to read on a regular basis.
