WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO PLANT DAFFODILS

You don't need much to plant daffodil bulbs and have a beautiful garden. You'll need a shovel, of course some daffodil bulbs, and ideally loose soil with some organic matter so it's easy to work with and dig a hole.

WHERE TO PLANT DAFFODIL BULBS

Daffodils are very versatile allowing you to plant them most anywhere. You can plant daffodils in full sun, or shaded areas, in an open border, cutting borders, or containers. Keep in mind giving daffodils a little room when planting so they can expand and naturalize where they'll stay for years to come.

HOW TO PLANT DAFFODILS

You preferably want to plant daffodils with the pointed end up, but don't worry if planted sideways or upside down, it will still find its way to the surface. Plant the bulbs in clumps leaving about a two bulb space in between each bulb.

WHEN TO PLANT DAFFODILS

You will want to plant daffodils in the fall, October or November, before the ground freezes allowing the daffodil to take root and establish itself prior to the cold winter.

DAFFODIL AFTERCARE

After you plant your daffodils, give them a little water only if you have very dry soil. Otherwise, just wait until the cold winter passes and enjoy your daffodils in the early spring!

Just planted 50 bulbs, added some bonemeal to the ground, and now what for spring, and yes it's raining here, Washington the evergreen state. Lol

After you plant them do you continue watering them? What is the water schedule?

My Daffodils didn't bloom last year and haven't bloomed this year :( . I'm learning that's prob because the lawn guy cut back the leaves. If I leave the leaves alone this year, will they start to bloom again next year?
