Great series on MongoDB. The only thing I would mention is that when you create the user for Database Access on Mongo Atlas you need to make sure that neither the username or password contain any special characters that you would see in an URL string - ie, @, :, ?, =, etc. Since the Connection String is going to be treated as a normal URL, it will cause issues with how the URL string is interpreted and you'd get error messages that you can't authenticate to your Atlas db.

I usually tell my students when we go over MongoDb that they should just stick to upper and lower case letters and numbers for both else use the suggested passwords.
