It's very, very true that the little one always wants to be part of what's going on with homeschool. My 2 year old says, "Color! Color!" whenever I sit down to do any bookwork with my old son, so I always have a coloring book and crayons available. We have been 4-day a week homeschoolers for years and that works VERY well for us.

Love this video and can’t wait for the planning one. As someone else who has young kiddos, it’s nice watching your channel as most other ones I see is older kid focus.

We did 6 weeks on, 1 week off this year and it worked beautifully.

I love that my 4 year old daughter loves doing some homeschool work but I don’t let her do too much and we are still doing play based learning mainly for her!!! I find with older kids it can take longer to start but I don’t mind. Nothing wrong wiv screen time, we try to make it purpose full but it doesn’t always happen and I’m ok with that.

I’m looking forward to your planner video. I picked up that planner last year I didn’t end up using it much. I’d love to see how you use it and how you customized it.

Love the video! Great to see others schedules.. it's my first year as a homeschooler and getting into a routine has been so hard. Thanks for the video

Our kids are about the same age. My girls are 7 and 5. Then my youngest is 3. I also sit and work with each of my kids 1 on 1 from about 10am until we break at 11:30 for lunch, then noon until about 2ish. It can feel super long some days lol 😴.

I'd like to try 6 weeks schedule. Atm I don't have any schedule, I've started semi-formal school with my son this year, who has turned 5 last month and we just did school when we can or feel like. He is technically is still Preschooler so no hurry. But I know I need to be more organised. Though I'm not a planner type of person, I don't even know how to keep the planner. I've bought a beautiful planner couple of months ago and just don't really know what to fo with it.
How do you plan your lessons? One a day, and finish when finish, or break up the whole book to feet in a year? I'd like mire videos about planning and organising homeschooling routines

Other than the core subject, when you finish the 6 weeks, those subjects or books, do you finish it and move on to the next or keep going longer? This is probably more for family style and morning basket subjects

Okay soooo how are you feeling about TGATB language arts announcements?! Level K just did not work for my son, and I know you guys struggled a bit with it as well. I am intrigued what the new courses will be like! We love love love the pre-k and primer so praying this will be a better transition for the kids! (I have no friends who use TGATB and am just craving to talk about it! Lmao!)

And I love hearing your schedule! I have a boy and two girls the same age ranges as yours and it definitely is a struggle juggling them. We do all of our individual school time while baby naps and when she wakes up I accept the fact that we’re done! Lol
