I find it amusing that none of the aliens that Sheridan fought could see he would always use the nuclear option when backed into a corner. He destroys the Mimbari Black Star with nukes, then the Shadows home base of Z'Ha'Dum with nukes on the white star and finally the third space device.

Fun fact: the aliens were designed by concept artist Wayne Barlowe. A famous artist that has worked on Hellboy, Pacific Rim, and many other movies.

On the other hand, saying "Up Yours!" to the representative of a race ten thousand years ahead of us; yeah, that's just Sheridan.

You know these guys are bad news when they have shields. In a setting where full blown energy shields are rare to almost non existent.

I love this movie. So chilling, even for the often-hard Babylon 5 universe. It was outright cosmic horror, the 3rdspace aliens were basically stand-ins for Cthulhu.

Also, I love how they had shields and how much everyone was freaking out over it. This is the one time we actually, for sure, see shields in the B5 universe and very definitively shows how effective they would be.

1:45 OMG!!! This flight sequence, REALLY close range firing... I'm re watching Thirdspace for the first time and man, B5 really got good in the VFX department! For 1998, this was off the hook! Even today, I'm like WOW!!

It wasn't easy to do this great show in 90's as technology wasn't that advanced. Now they have technology but not anymore great producers with great ideas and no actors anymore who are for sci-fi and know how to act in sci fi as most of that actors are over 65 years or some even died.

They did a great job of showing the scale of what they were against. The cruisers in particular were pumping *HUGE* amounts of energy into the shield and even then, they only managed to create a momentary opening for Sheridan to enter.

I feel like the Earth Alliance and Narn ships would have been REAL useful here. The Earth Alliance destroyers were practically designed to sit guns forward and fire while taking heavy damage. Another missed opportunity to see the big chin guns fire.
Minbari and White Stars were good on the firepower front but not so good on sitting still and firing
