Surely the whole band should agree before saying yes to a tour? That’s possibly the most bizarre thing about the situation is the sudden “oh I didn’t agree to this” following the backlash.

Why is there so much "controversy" in the hardcore scene? Underground hiphop is also like this. The alt crowd seem so uptight and touchy and it's pretty lame.

Does nobody remember the time bad omens didn't find out they'd been booked for a tour until it was officially announced? Maybe not since their "pulling out" because they hadnt agreed to it got reframed as them throwing a hissy fit over the size of their name on the poster. Musicians have a lot less control than people think, it's totally feasible for Connie to have never agreed to the tour. Sometimes the most a band can do is voice disapproval. Sometimes, for legal reasons, they can't even do that. Everyone talking about what she should have done has no conception of the way the industry works.

I’m a fan of DGD and I know their history with questionable lead singers like with Johnny Craig. And I’m all for holding people accountable but I find it counterintuitive to bring up pass drama and ones that aren’t a part of the band anymore. It’s been addressed and all, even when it’s people I don’t like. I think it creates toxicity in the community and can ruin opportunities or good lineups. I thought they did something insane with that reaction, DV is still very bad tho if it was true.

I didn’t make it in the 3 hour time limit. Some of these allegations it’s sad to see their name get smeared. A member of PVRIS, Alex Babinski, had similar allegations and got kicked out of the band. And he got his name cleared legally of any wrongdoing. But would PVRIS ever bring him back? Probably not. The damage is already done. And even if they did bring him back. The comment section to anything regarding PVRIS is going to be critical. I’d like to see actual charges brought forth before de-platforming someone. Not just something someone typed up on social media.😊

I understand people’s frustration with DGD. They have had a lot of ups and downs since the beginning but continued to remain as strong as they can be. Fact of the matter is that Tillian is no longer in the band and the band are trying their best to move forward with that situation. If the tour continues to move forward I will definitely be there for SYSC and DGD. Those two bands are very important to me at this current time because those are two bands that meant a lot to Jordan Blake of A Skylit Drive. When the original members of A Skylit Drive came back, they played their first show at SwanFest 2022 and SYSC was also on that year’s lineup. So hopefully if I meet both bands, I would want to share my condolences to the passing of their good friend and peer Jordan Blake, especially to DGD.

I’m a big Roman Candle fan. Seeyouspacecowboy shouldn’t have taken them off the tour, they did everything they could to fix the problem and get rid of their bassist. then this whole thing wouldn’t have happened.

LOL connie you drama queen. your agent and management confirmed to this tour because you gave approval. Couldn't take the reddit heat but it still looks like you are on the tour and you didn't quit. Phase two will be "donating to some cause" to save face.
