Here’s my story of that magical day. It was my first time at Augusta that day as well. I could barely contain myself. My father keeping an eye on me to make certain I didn’t make a break for the Hogan Bridge. I’m 44! He’s 74!

When we came up on Tiger, he, Freddy, and Justin had just teed off at 15. I watched him play his second shot from atop the hill. Then he dropped another one and hit again! It was exactly the moment I’ve wanted for so long.

During the break I talked to other fans in the parking lot and begged the Golf Gods to let us back in. I ate egg salad and pimento sandwiches, drank a couple of beers and didn’t spend more than $40. That is until I went into the Golf Shop.

My story was like so many others. And apparently just like yours! Thank you for posting this! It was like I was instantly back there.

Now if you allow me just a little bit more…

While waiting I asked everyone I ran into, including those in my foursome, if you could play only one hole at Augusta National, which one would it be?

I'm 45, I watched him a few times live, but the 99 Ryder cup at Brookline takes the cake. Fingers crossed he plays there in June!

Done it in 2001. Seen him at every open championship he's been at since 1996 and at us open 2003. I need to do uspga for the grand slam 😅

Just seeing him at a tournament should be on the bucket list but at Augusta should be extra I am going to this years presidents cup I want to see him there but I’m not getting my hopes up

I followed Tiger at Pebble Beach during the ProAm when he was paired with Tony Romo. Definitely star struck which never happens for me.
