Hi All!

Vitamin A Housekeeping:
All of the brands featured responded to my questionnaire and I am very grateful. Not all disclosed the % of their vitamin A ingredients so where possible I have alluded to the placement on the inci list on the packaging.
All of these products will get an individual review on the blog (if they are not already featured). I am working on them solidly, so bear with.
Do not forget your SPF. Seek your physician’s advice if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Caroline...thank you so much for reviewing my Advanced Resurfacing Serum! A good formula is everything, as you well know! Adore you to pieces! P.S. We do offer free shipping to the UK for purchases $150 + USD. :) - Renee

Caroline you have clearly invested an enormous amount of time and energy into these videos. I've had to watch each one twice to fully digest all of the information. Thank You! I am eagerly looking forward to the next series of videos 🤗🌠

This series is so informative, Caroline - thank you. You’ve made us all better consumers of retinol and in fact, skincare in general. Thank you 👍💖

I cannot wait for your “top 5 retinols” video you mentioned you’ll do in this series! Love these videos, thanks so much for all the time and effort you’ve put into them.

For the advanced retinols, perhaps, 'concentrated' is a good word instead of strong.

I hope you review SkinMedica, Obagi, and Truth in treatment systems. Also, would you consider doing this series for cleansers, acid toners, moisturizers, and vitamin C serums?

Not only is this informative in helping to choose a Retinol but you have introduced some brands that I now want to some other products.

Still the best on YT. Your reviews seem genuine no gimmicky sound effects or klout chasing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

I use 0.5% Obagi and have been since December, before that Sunday Riley Luna. 0.5% still makes my skin peel slightly but doesn’t burn like it did. I use it 5 times a week. Sun spots and scars faded 80% love it xx

Such an informative video. Love this as it reaffirms what I would like to use. My only complaint is that I can’t see the boxes or product on your hand because the lighting is very bright. But it probably doesn’t matter, since you’re reading it and telling us about the smell/texture. Thank you for tackling this big job!

Thank you Caroline!
*SkinMedica* also looks like it has really good retinol formulas. With peptides, B3, ceramides....hope you mention this brand too. Never tried, but interested!

I'd call the stong products 'Intense'. I have sensitive skin and i always go for the opposite: the gentle products. But as you said, i categorize products not based on the percentage but on the effect on the skin.

P.s ❤️ your vids so informative and transparent - Please can you do a drugstore skincare, I know you have done one in the past but would love an updated version, a lot of products you showcase I simply cannot afford - you are cool 😎 ❤️💛💜💕💚💙🧡xxx

Hi Caroline, well I've done it, finally made my first order with Kate Somerville. I'm going for her vita-C thingy serum and some moisturiser/serum. Got my fingers crossed.

Great information, as always.
I am wondering about the Avene Ystéal intense concentrate. I read about them using retinal, but have a tough time figuring out where it sits in the strength/intensity category.
