Omg where have you been my whole precal life you were just born to be a math teacher I just saw 2-3 weeks worth of lessons in an hour with your vids and it all makes sense now0.0 THANK YOU I think I'll do better in my test tomorrow now^_^

I am a bit confused about your second graph. At around 3:13 in the video, you are saying that the point (-5, -3) is not a local max. However, the definition says the if the point in the interval is greater than or equal to all the other points in the interval, then it is a local maximum. Due to the "equal to" in the definition, wouldn't that make the point (-5, -3) a maximum since it is great than the points in an interval to the left and equal to the points in the interval to the right?

Thank you. My textbook is uber confusing. Why do they word it in such an impossible mannerism?
