Sloshing in fuel tank using VOF method

Random motion of the vehicle can affect the flow of fuel from the fuel tank to the engine. Volume of Fluid (VOF) method in OpenFOAM® has been used to simulate the effect of movement of the free surface of the fuel in the tank due to external motion. Unsteady simulations have been done to find out the fuel-free surface at each instant. The pressure generated due to the slashing motion has also been estimated.
