We're gonna see Venals son die and be reanimated into the icon of sin, seraphim come down amd upgrade Doomguy, and possibly have to fight through the sentinels coliseum, the 2 wars, the first invasion of hell to Argenta and the 2nd war when the marauders betrayed the night sentinels and the ending will be Doomguy becoming the last king of Argenta and being BESTOWED the Doom Slayer name. So it is literally the origin of the NAME Doom Slayer.

I have a theory that the game’s opening level would be the battle of Taras Nabad, where the Slayer made his first appearance. The player would play as Classic Doomguy in full 3D, learn the controls and stuff, then use meet with the Seraphim to recreate the cutscene from Eternal before taking out the Titan
