The TB cravings box is the GOAT of value meals - and you nailed it with the exact same “most food possible per dollar” strategy that I do: Crunchwrap, 5 layer burrito, potatoes.

That Crunchwrap on its own by itself is $5 on the menu - so basically everything else in the meal is *free.*

Pair it with the rewards points for ordering on the app and you can easily score free nachos bellgrande’s every once in a while to make a hell of a feast for a couple bucks.

Taco Bell is also very customizable with a ton of non "Value" options, Which puts it way ahead for me. Getting two beefy melt burritos for $2 each leads to an immensely filling value meal.

You can switch out the drink on Wendy's value combos for a small frosty, which significantly ups it's value in my opinion.

Alot of places have auto soda machines, meaning that they are intentionally shorting people ounces despite how cheap soda is vs. advertised amounts. Which is crazy to me.

Taco Bell's $5 cravings box is a great deal. I calculated it would cost over $13 at menu prices if you picked the most expensive items. McDonald's usually has a 20 nuggets and 2 large fries deal on their app which is about $5.70 in my area and would cost double that at menu prices. I think the Little Caesars large pepperoni pizza for $5.99 is still one of the best values and you could easily share that with someone else. Subway always has a BOGO coupon code that many people don't know about and you can get two footlongs for less than $8 using that.

Wendy’s has been my choice for a quick a cheap filling meal, I found the best value you get is when ordering for 2 or more and taking advantage of the online/app promos. I usually pickup two 5 dollar biggie bags and upgrade to a large drink and fries each are then like 7 or so dollars making me eligible for their 3 dollars off promo so in the end I pay 12 bucks for everything. Sad that fast food has gotten so expensive that a small family can easily spend 50 or more dollars on what should realistically be a 30 dollar meal, so I’m hopeful that more places implement these value oriented deals.

The taco bell cravings box is an even better deal where I live since it's actually $5. Nothing cheaper than it actually, so the $5 trio is still around as well for some reason.
