An intresting point - there actually are living people in Nehekara. The city of Numas is home to people who are subjects of the local Tomb King. His undead armies protect them, and they serve him in life and in death.

Listening to this video, remembered this quote by the father of fantasy and looked it up :

Kings built tombs more splendid than the houses of the living and counted the names of their descent dearer than the names of their sons. Childless lords sat in aged halls musing on heraldry or in high cold towers asking questions of the stars. And so the kingdom of Gondor sank into ruin, the line of kings failed, the white tree withered and the rule of Gondor was given over to lesser men.

I think you meant "No living thing stirs in this place, but it is far from uninhabited." 0:20

I used to play Tomb Kings on tabletop back in the day. Man CA did such a stellar job bringing them to life.

Seeing that tabletop army halfway in brought back some good memories.

Oh how I miss the old world.

Another fantastic video.

Warhammer lore is some of the most epic stuffy I have experienced in fantasy. It is obvious an infinite amount of crazy people have left their footprints in it.

Settra approves of this video. Your devotion and loyalty to Settra does not go unnoticed, you will be spared.

What makes the tombkings so alluring to me is that they don't seem to be inherently evil. With the exception of Arkan, and Nagash (who, hopefully, stays fucking dead.) So I could see them engage in diplomacy with the other nations of men. Khalida would be possibly the best ally. She doesn't seem to be the kind of Queen that relishes in needless suffering and would be more than happy to destroy the vampires in sylvania.

Hey man, i have to say if its worth anything towards you:
1. The way you present your content, such as lore, the mechanics of war, the intimate history of key personal and so on is unique and presented beautifully, hands down.
2. The narration/images are truly spot on man keep it up!
3. The angles are sooo smooth and so good man! It feels as if im there or as if I'm learning a whole new world (even tho ive poured like 600+ hours into the game) Cheers to you and anyone who works with you man.
4. You use mods not just for fun/presentation but instead you take it to the next level and use it for accurate lore explanation, and even tho this may seem self-explanatory not many people use the mods this way so I just had to point it out.
5. Your channel is so small right now but without a doubt it will grow enormously quickly.
Personally I know that you spoke about Patreon, and I would fully support you Fam.
Thanks for all of your hard work.

As a Tomb King myself we will make Nehekara great again.

The Tomb lords have a fascination with skulls as much as the imperium of man

Best total war warhammer channel! Your the only channel that showcases the actual game unlike the others who kept on putting the same pictures over and over again that makes their videos boring. Keep at the great work mate!

- dust could cover the existence of our kingdom first, but the power of the kingdom itself would not be able to be covered up -

Love that tomb guard conversion. I always liked how their mummified version from army book more. Makes them really look like an elite troop.

I always love playing as the over powered Tomb Kings! But playing as the orcs has never been more difficult with them around. Can't wait for the next episode ;)

Subscribed. This is useful for me as I have not really thought much about WHFB in the last two decades and only barely remember bits and pieces. Now that TW WH is out I've been waging war on names I'm vaguely familiar with but these videos will give me the backstory. Thank you very much for these - they will make the game more fun.
