I've been to India five times. Twice alone. I'm a man. If you're a woman DO NOT GO ALONE or at least be very careful. The level of harassment was exhausting for me at times but for a female its obviously different and worse. Not worth it

I am a male not a female, I have blue eyes, blonde hair and fair skin, I have been to some cities in India which are not the main tourists cities, when I was there I was surprised by the amount of males that followed me in the streets and tried to enter my hotel after I told them that they were not allowed to go into the hotel and into my room .
The groups of males that followed me keep asking me if I was male or female, I have been to many countries in Europe and no one ever stares at me and they know I am a male and not a female so I am not sure why it happens in India .

I am a women myself, living in india and i have no words left and i feel so sorry for the girl. They are literally harassing her but she was very patient and kind and the dumb asses take advantage of her. As an indian, India is the worst country for girls safety. I really hope alteast the future generations are a bit understanding and behaves appropriately. This is some embarrassing shit🤦🏽‍♀️

As an Indian who’s from the US, I remember my language teacher from High School telling her experience in India. She’s traveled to over 70 countries and would tell stories about her experiences abroad. When she told about her India experience, me and the two other Indian kids felt nothing but red as a tomato 🍅 She narrated exactly what happened with the tourist in this video.
