What I Use In A Day (Autism Daily Routine)

These are some of the most used items in my day that i probably couldn’t live without!

Many autistic individuals will have items that they can’t go a day without and there are also some items that they probably have not come across yet that could really improve their daily issues.

1 iPad: I use daily reminders and my calendar apps the most on my iPad to organise my day and my medication intake. There is no way I could function with out it these days.

2 Brillia: This is an amazing non habit forming homeopathic medication that you can get over the counter. It is so natural that it has no nasties and no addictive properties. I highly recommend trying this out.

3 Headphones (airpods): Noise cancelling headphones (or any headphones to be fare) really help with sensory overload. I use these on the daily to usually zone out into some calmness.

4 Vans Comfy Cush Shoes: Omg these things are incredible! Vans released autism friendly shoes in 2019, following this they introduced comfy cush which is a sensory friendly liner on their shoes. I couldn’t live without using these now.

Having reliable items that you can use to help improve your life on the autism spectrum helps relieve lots of stress and meltdown potential. Do you have any that I haven’t mentioned? Please let me know!

I bought myself some Bose noise canceling headphones just for quality sound. I didn't know until I had it that I needed it! I didn't realize how much the world was impacting me. After this discovery, I got myself some Bose noise canceling earbuds and loop earplugs. Game changer!

I also started wearing my sunglasses on the regular whenever the sun is up and I'm not at home.

I also embraced the night owl lifestyle. I work for rideshare apps and find that working at night is best because there's no sun, less pedestrians and less traffic. It has been a great relief to not work during rush hour traffic. There's lots of stimuli during this time and I get angry when I'm overstimulated.

Vans gifted me comfy cush when they came out and I can confirm that they are next level. I wore them constantly for over a year!

Hi dan ! Love your videos. I am a mum of 5 . I have Asperger’s and probably adhd but as yet undiagnosed and at present 3 kids with asd diagnosis, one going tomorrow and one still waiting…
I totally agree with you about ipad and iPhone. They changed my life with executive function and made communication so much easier. The zag rugged keyboard i also have. Amazing. Haven’t managed to smash an apple product yet. Everything else lasts five minutes ! Thanks for the info on shoes…kids hate anything other than crocs and thats not really great in a Lancashire winter… thankyou so much for your content.

Do you wear your baseball cap all the time. I have 2 I keep with me all the time. A baseball cap blocks most overhead bright light.

Does the Brillia pills really work on enhancing clarity and reducing stress, irritability etc. or are you just paid to say that? Has anyone tried them, do they work?
