Thanks for the videos. I've been experimenting with your method. I had begun trading the micro ES a little because I had gotten a notification from my broker that it was available back whenever, last summer or fall maybe. I didn't trade it for months initially because it seemed to be too low volume. I fancy myself more of a swing trader, but usually unless I get one that moves pretty well in my direction straight away I chicken out and exit with less of a loss than my Stop (hopefully) or a small scalp. This afternoon (Fri 5/13) I traded the micro Dow MYM for the first time because the MES, M2K, and MNQ were moving too fast for my taste. I had a "chicken out" small loss that wouldn't have hit my stop but then would have hit my target, then I had pretty decent winner. Thanks again 👍

This trade was interesting because you basically took a 50/50 bet on the direction of the next move. The MACD was not really a strong sell signal, and you have to admit you were a little lucky lol. I've been burned several times trying to predict the direction like that.

Hi Don. It's been a wild couple days with SPY & /M2K. Futures are a great way to bypass PDT. I'm green on the week & got some good xp to. There"s a fine line between moving the stop closer & giving it room to work.

Don - I just received your book. I will endeavor to try out trading the micro e-mini /MYM for starter because it's only .50 per 1pt. comparing $5 per pt. on /MES and /MNQ. The /MNQ is only $2 per pt. So I want to approach this conservatively till more experience under my belt. Is the MACD indicator is all you need for putting on a trade? or you have other indicators in your repertoire before making a trade? Thank you and love your videos comparing to others.

Hi, Don. How did you avoid putting on a trade from the opening until 11:30. I have to say, I would’ve followed that downward trend in the first half and traded that; then probably avoided the timing that you used to put on your trade. What am I missing? I have a fair amount of market experience but if i can’t recognize a good entry point, i’m doomed 😳.
