IGN asked this dynamic duo if they wanted to play a musical tribute to the Metroid series. Two days later they gave us this. Minds = blown.

Sadly I would agree with KayohymnSazhiry, I was born the same year so it wasn't till I was older that I cared about or noticed Super Metroid's existence (I still haven't played it but I really want to) and by that point I had already played Metroid Prime which debatedly (by Halo 3 and the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and the close runner-up The Legend of Zelda OOT) is my favorite and most nostalgic game of all time. When I started to hear the Downed Frigate Orpheon and then Phendrana Drifts on this tribute which are two of my favorite scores on my, as said, favorite game... well, All I can say is a HUGE Thank You! And Thank You for giving the 25th Anniversary of this series an enjoyable tribute, It's more than the creators themselves gave.

This brings back memories. Buying Super Metroid with my dad, waiting for a Metroid 64 that never came, then getting Metroid Prime and a Gamecube for Link, and Samus... something Kratos and Master Chief will never become....
