My son was in the army paratrooper. He used to call that a "shithook" instead of a "chinook". He said it's the only aircraft in the world that can collide with itself.

oh man Chinook jumps were intense, C-130 jumps were a breeze just sucked out of the door and boom your chute opens. But Chinook jumps oh boy there is a good 500 to 1000 ft drop before your chute opens I almost pulled my reserve on my first Chinook jump but still very fun but intense.

ah, I the remember my good old T-10. My easiest jumps were from a Chinook. Five jumps in one day while in West Germany, early 1990. Airborne!

The pathfinders got the minimum hight to 350ft in 2001 I believe ? I think it’s 20seconds from exit to touch down ?
