I still can't get over how the Republicans never applauded for the things Jeffries was talking about. Things like ending childhood poverty, helping the working class stop living paycheck to paycheck, not ending Social Security. Oh wow, it's too complicated to raise minimum wage but NOT too complicated to give tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations. Can someone/anyone help me understand this? In every facet of daily life, prices increase but not our wages. No increase of minimum wage since 2009; and in 15 years no one can figure that out. No wonder this country is in trouble. We need mathmeticians in office; NOT MAGA.

WA state's minimum wage is 16.66. It's over $20 in Seattle. This includes all jobs with gratuities. $7.25 is a homeless wage. Unacceptable.
