Kon was made a hero in cour 3. He made Ichigo smile again.

And this is because of his full bringer form at the time. Which used the sub soul reaper pass to convert his own body into a soul reapers instead of pushing out his soul from his body, like shown when he first got the powers in the full bringer arc

Makes sense. He was in his human body when he fought Ginjo, seems he can use his soul reaper powers without having to leave his body

I could have sworn in the fullbring arc he no longer needed to leave his body anymore. Once he got his powers back and he was stabbed as a fullbringer they manifested in overlapped and took over and then became his Shinigami ability. We see the same thing happen with his son when he uses his Shinigami ability.

That means ichigo was always in his human body, just like Chad and orihime and because of this, kon was appeared in tybw and finally showed us - what he can do 😊

In the manga he literally says “how am I back in my real body i thought I left it at urahara’s place” when he gets back home

Im glad he doesnt leave his body could you imagine being ichigos friend or something and thinking bros ina deep sleep but he's actually astro projecting his soul into a different dimension to stop the universe from collapsing😭

Ye since basically even Aizen did it. In he FKTA he said he became a 3D being meaning he no longer needs a Material body. Ichigo being able to do the same would also explain how Dimensionality works

This is probably one of the greatest anime / manga inconsistencies. You can say that physical matter can now just convert into reishi, sure…but that’s so wild to me.

The physical body was once seen as the anchor to the world of the living, to the concept of being alive. Now, there’s no risk of Ichigo losing his physical body, he’s just always a Soul Reaper.

And this leaves me with a lot of questions, particularly about Fullbringers in general.

As you know, souls typically lose their memories when becoming Soul Reapers, or sometimes when passing to the afterlife altogether. Why do the Fullbringers keep their powers AND their memories? Why did Ichigo bother with taking Ginjo’s body from Soul Society and burying it in the human world out of “respect, ” only to find out that a living version of Ginjo and Tsukishima are just wandering Soul Society in the TYBW?

If Ichigo ages naturally in his human body and dies, will he come to Soul Society as his prime self with all of his memories intact? Will he come to Soul Society having aged? Is he immortal as other Soul Reapers are, aging slowly over time, with a body that is considered both simultaneously physical matter AND reishi?

ever since fullbringer arc we never actually see ichigo leave his body behind to fight. his new battle form as I understand is both fullbringer and soul reaper, his fullbringer powers being based around hollow powers, embedded his hollow mask in the outfit regardless of shikai or bankai. for all intents and purposes there is no bridge between all of the powers Ichigo has at this point. its all coalesced into one

I would say he started being able to do it when he regained his powers on the full bringer arc. We don't see a body left behind when he transforms again, so I assume he finally started doing that there

I don’t think he’s done the leaving his body thing since the lost agent arc when he got his fullbringer powers

So does this mean that Ichigo can shift between his physical body and spiritual one without separating the two now, right as his son, Kazui did in the No Breaths from Hell One-Shot? Is that something Ichigo developed because of his Fullbring being fused with his Shinigami powers and Kazui inherited it?

It's because his soul reaper form is on his real body. Ever since rukia gave his powers back in the fullbring arc his body wasn't on the ground. When he transforms the clothes and sword appear on him but his body doesn't separate
