Hi Just wondering, text based editing in premier compared to descript.. basically descript has a lot of the uh, huh pauses that it recognises more than Premier Pro am i correct to be saying that?

Tried a few of the new AI upscaling software options the other day and Topaz is the best. But, for slo-mo it's not as good as SpeedX or even Twixtor in my initial tests with it. Surprising considering its ability to resize and stabilize. Maybe with footage that is more recognizable for the "machines" trying to learn what the image is it would perform better than mine which was fairly abstract.

Side note if you are upscaling any footage: It works great with well lit stuff. If your footage is dark/moody and has soft focus (lot's of bokeh) it will have no idea what to do with it and it will look the same as the low res but with weird artifacts where the algorithms tried to make sense of it.

Can this also work in DaVinci Resolve studio, I use to follow your great videos for Pr before Adobe stopped my over $2000 program suite after 7 years of use because the seller where I purchased it from is out of business. They were trying to force a subscription that I refused to pay so I avoid any Adobe as much as I can. $299 one-time pay lifetime for Davinci and it's a great fantastic program. I digress, please start a Davinci tutorial and I will follow you, hope to see you there. Thanks again for the great video.

ok, we can export from Descript to premiere pro. When we edit the filler words in Descript, does all of the "cuts" carry over to premiere pro as well?

Chatgpt didn't give anything you could use, so it's not really a great way to get new ideas. It's a great way to procrastinate and think you're doing something. At its best it can work as a way to recognize and avoid derivative content.
