If you're getting 100 MBs in a rural area, then why would you even consider Starlink? consider yourself blessed. there's plenty of us lucky to get 5 MBs and paying $120 monthly.

Hey Brad, Starlink told another customer to plug and unplug the cable to the dish rapidly three times to force an Update. Apparently this initiates a factory reset and once connected to the satellites, it pushes down the latest firmware. Using the reset on the app will not initiate this update.

I've had it since Dec 2021 and I jus checked the speed and I still get 148 atm. My price never increased. But then again I am in Canada so it might be different. I have no complaints about starlink. It's wonderful

My Starlink just got 360Mbps down and 15.5Mbps upload.

I would definitely quit that service! Not worth the money. Me personally, I wouldn’t support Musk in the first place. He’s part of the elite system.

Yeah definitely seems there is something wrong with Your connection if that is consistent. I’m on Colorado. I just tested at 265 mbps down and 17.5 up. I have got much slower speeds and it doesn’t seem like it is overall getting faster than when we first got it but I feel pretty blessed if we can at least stay around 100 mbps. We had ViaSat b4 with 1-3 megabits down if we were lucky. It wasn’t that bad in 2016 but they must have way over sold it. Well I hope you can get ahold of the Starlink team soon and get it figured out. Is there possibly any damage to your cable?

According to their TOS...they "guarantee" at least 99% reliability at the contracted bandwidth 100Mbps / 10Mbps...but since they are only providing 20Mbps / 380Kbps they are in default.
The time span of 99% would be about 3.68 days of slower...or no service...and as such they need to reimburse you for the days without the agreed upon service that you have paid for.
After verifying this...you may wish to consider emailing their tech dept & CS dept with these facts to see what they have to say...then base your next actions on their response.
I basically TOS-SLAPPED Comcast with their own violations when I was fed up with the things they were doing to us...then went to AT&T for cheaper & much better service.

No issues here. Been having 250 down and 30 up the past week. Lowest I’ve seen was 170 down and 20 up. From what I’ve read it seems only certain areas are having these issues. I don’t seem to be affected.

These tests show SL is nowhere near the levels needed to get paid by the FCC.

After 2 years at our rural property in wisconsin, never had an issue until 3 weeks ago. Now its sporadic and sometimes drops. Standard Verizon service, but something is definitely causing internet interruptions lately. Stay smart and stay safe

I was so excited when I had seen your initial video on Starlink. I also live in a rural area, but in S.W. Washington and am unable to get decent internet speeds unless I go with the local cable company. I hope that you will keep us up to date on your issues with them and how it all plays out. I'm hoping that they will resolve the issues. Blessings
