Spring is beautiful and enchanting, but do you truly understand it? In three episodes about spring videos, I will help you discover the spring around you and take you into a world filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers.

The beautiful secret of spring is nature’s quiet renewal—birds weaving their nests, owlets breaking free from their shells, and the world waking up in soft green hues. Life begins anew in hidden branches and cozy hollows, with each chirp and rustle a whispered promise of warmer days ahead.
In spring, birds build nests to provide a safe place for their eggs and chicks. The process varies by species but generally follows these steps:

Choosing a Site – Birds select a nesting location based on safety, food availability, and protection from predators. Common sites include trees, shrubs, cliffs, ground depressions, or even human structures.
Gathering Materials – Birds collect twigs, leaves, grass, feathers, moss, and even human-made items like string or paper to build their nests. Some species use mud, saliva, or spider silk to hold the materials together.
Constructing the Nest – Using their beaks and feet, birds weave or press materials into a secure structure. Some birds, like swallows, create mud nests, while woodpeckers carve out tree cavities.
Lining the Nest – To keep eggs warm and protected, birds add soft materials like feathers, fur, or moss inside the nest.
Final Touches – Once complete, the bird inspects the nest and may make adjustments before laying eggs.

A baby owl born in spring would likely hatch between March and May, depending on the species and location. Most owls lay their eggs in late winter or early spring so that their young can take advantage of the abundance of food available as the weather warms.

At birth, baby owls (called owlets) are covered in soft, white or gray down and rely entirely on their parents for food and warmth. Their eyes typically remain closed for the first few days. Over the next few weeks, they develop feathers, grow rapidly, and start exploring their surroundings. By late summer, they often fledge, meaning they leave the nest and begin to learn how to hunt on their own.

Spring is a season of renewal, bringing vibrant flowers and the cheerful songs of birds. Cherry blossoms, tulips, daffodils, and magnolias bloom in soft pastels and bright hues, filling the air with their fragrance. Birds return from migration, building nests and filling the mornings with their melodies. Robins, swallows, and warblers are common sights, flitting among blossoming branches.
