Way better purchase imo. Slightly more money than a standard raptor and much nicer/more capable. Picked up a 23 TRX a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier

One thing that isn’t talked about much is the sound system comparison. The B&O system in my Raptor is trash. Ram’s TRX has a major advantage here as well. Now, I know that is not why we buy these trucks, but as a daily driver it’s sad that my radio is mostly off. It’s literally embarrassing.

Hands down the better choice and I've had both Raptors and TRXs with currently having a 2021 TRX 66, 500 miles and 0 issues and a 2023 TRX 2500 miles...My Raptor 2021 37" Package has had multiple issues and broken parts...Poor quality on the Ford with the Ram being exceptional quality parts and build....170K for an R is absolutely stupid....

Just ordered my TRX after watching 100 plus videos about it 😅 Thanks Ben for your reviews. One thing I’d recommend is doing a longer and more diverse tests. I know it’s not easy with dealers but you already have a strong brand 👏

just came from F150 to Ram Rebel and am WAY more impressed with my Rebel than i was with my F150. as such, IF i were to go higher, i would definitely get the TRX before the Raptor or Raptor R. maybe one day....maybe....

I have 14 Raptor twin turbo and I was waiting for the Raptor R then saw the projected price in Saudi $155k and changed my mind. Am going for a TRX $130k and still keeping Gen 1 Raptor

Raptor R doesn’t have a reclining back seat, launch control, and a head up display, and it looks like just the regular Ecoboost unless you are Raptor fanatic and knows about V8 version.

I traded my 19 raptor for a trx and I’m not looking back. The trx interior feels really upscale compared to the raptors ‘work truck’ interior

Seems like the Raptor R performs better when pushed to its limits from all the reviews I've scene. Outside of that though I think the TRX is overall just better when you consider what you get at this price point. Still crazy capable, and decently priced and the best looking of the bunch

I love the TRX but they’re high on the theft list. Don’t need the headache from worrying that my truck may get stolen. I’ll be fine with a F150 Tremor

I have a 23 Raptor 35 (paid MSRP, in CA) but the best value is the TRX. However, they just don’t hold the value the raptors do

All these comments about the Ram being better than the Ford- currently I'm a dyno tester here at F-150 assembly Dearborn Michigan where we assemble different variants of the F-150 including the Raptor. The Raptor R is a beast- not just under the hood but where it really counts if you're a Baja enthusiast- the suspension, yeah it might be on the expensive side and fundamentally considered the Lincoln of Baja trucks- but it's not for everyone, so if you can't afford it just say so and go with your TRX and settle for less. RAM is too closely related to Jeep and we all know how good quality Jeep is.. if you don't then you're just being ignorant

Hey you make some great informative videos, thanks. You are uniquely qualified to answer this question: Today, would you recommend a TRX or a new Raptor v6? You and many other reviewers have said the regular Raptor drives like a Mercedes S Class. How does that factor into what you recommend (TRX or regular Raptor)?

Dream truck!! Such a shame Ram has killed off the TRX. Wish I had the money to get one of the limited "Last Edition" TRXs. They'll be collector's items after 2024.

I like both but one feature I like on that Raptor is the built in generator in th bed . I mean you can literally power a house with it not that you’d do that but I’ve blown truck fuses by just plugging in my electric 2200 psi power washer . So for me personally I like the TRX more but the Raptor features are much more versatile.
