Makita Tools Takes Outdoor Power Equipment to the Next Level in 2024

In this video, you'll see Makita's new battery-powered outdoor power equipment, including string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, and even an entire lawn care trailer. I recently attended the 40th annual Equip Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky, and it was amazing to see all the new equipment that will be available to the lawn and landscape industry in 2024.

One of the most exciting new developments is Makita's new line of battery-powered lawn equipment. This is a big step for Makita, which is known for its high-quality power tools. Their new battery-powered lawn equipment is powerful, durable, and environmentally friendly.

I had a great time at the Equip Exposition, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for Makita's outdoor power equipment. I think they're poised to become a major player in the industry.

Love Makita and it’s good to see expanding into OPE. I’ve had them all, (Milwaukee, Dewalt, FES, Hilti, Bosch) and Makita is my absolute go to and what I’ve been with after trying the rest. No tool company competes in terms of balance and durability in my option.

Hi mate,

I have been using Xgt platform from last 2 years not even a single issue. Less fatigue and more efficiency

My father runs makita and loves them. I know they are expensive tools, but they are a great quality and have plenty of power. It's that tough balance of cost vs. benefit. It's a lot to invest almost $1000s on a blower/battery setup like the ones shown here.

I have the Makita XGT 40V Max lawn mower, powerhead with line hedge trimmer and handheld blower. The mower has been great. Surprised they didn't show the XGT mower to you. It's the mower at the top next to the scarifier at 7:00 mark. In Australia we get the 4x swing back blades by default.

A landscaper would have to invest in an armored brinks truck before taking that equipment to a job.

Why can’t we just get a 40v multi tool.

5:50 no one wants to run 105 line most people run 095 you should stick with that or even put in 080 that’s what I run it puts less strain on the motor lets me run with less throttle so longer run time you can also fit way more line into the head and it’s cheaper over all
