Harvesting my garlic (the moment of truth!)

Well done Ben, so many people this year have had issue with rot and poor bulb size. I was happy and lucky with my harvest. I grow soft and hard neck and elephant garlic. I didn’t realise you could regrow the little bulbils, I had quite a lot around the roots of my elephant garlic. Now I know for next year 😊

What variety of garlic is that? I have never seen bulbs or seeds develop in the middle of the stalk.

This is my second year growing veg. My onions and garlic just want to bolt... I dont know what I'm doing wrong. I keep them watered when its dry, nice rich draining soil in good sunny positions but they just want to bolt.

I harvested my garlic and I was so proud. First time and I had great big heads of garlic! Cut into one to check all ok and it was a dark yellow colour and didn’t look right at all. Why have I done wrong please Ben?

Great crop there, I harvested mine about 4weeks ago. Didn’t check for onion sets, I don’t think I have this variety, they are hanging up in my garage 🤗 🧄

Others say to have them dried in a shaded spot not sunny..

I've planted a clove and it's been around two weeks, but nothing comes out of it yet :(

My shallot, however, did grow a lovely small leaves already.

I brought wild garlic to go in with my rose as everywhere says they both thrive off each other but i tried everything n it just dried out n died...

I harvested my first ever own garlic. They are amazing
Immediately I wanted to grow more for a bigger harvest next year. I really want to make my own garlic braid at some point
