I've been in the DETR "PENDING RESOLUTION JAIL" since April 2020. If you're waiting for UI payments and you're in a similar situation, there is NO RECOURSE. DETR is now $22, 000 in arrears (including PEU supplement) to me and they just DON'T CARE. Don't write Congress, the Senate, or your Governor. I've tried all three and received NO RESPONSE. These people are ruthless.

I got evicted from Andover Place apartments next to UNLV about a month ago... I’ve been living homeless in Long Beach Ca during a pandemic since the 14th of January ... I gave the front office of Andover Place apartments the CDC declaration on 10.13.2020... I was not evicted November or December ... the apartments would not work out a payment plan at all since I received a rent debt notice back in July... I was laid off on 3.19.2020 from santos tacos located downtown Las Vegas they closed down completely... before I was working at sunset station at Sonoma cellar steakhouse for about 10 months ... I have not received any unemployment... since I got hit with a rent debt notice I’ve worked at 4 different restaurants bar and restaurants... I worked through the riots during a pandemic at Mickey Finns I’ve worked at failing restaurants that cut corners completely unsanitary with broken equipment and lack of staff along with racial tensions all during a pandemic ( chicks and butts, therapy, crown and anchor)... I’ve had my life threaten by customers and co workers at work and outside of work during a pandemic... I did not receive housing assistance because I was never able to reach anyone on the phone ... I am now homeless ... I came to California because of the weather and because it’s my home town... I am now working at a pizzeria in downtown Huntington Beach ... I am homeless saving up for a van to live in ... before the pandemic I was training to be a craps dealer at PCI dealer school shout out to Jess a great teacher and Wayne and all the other guys I didn’t have a chance to train with ... I worked at a steakhouse in a locals casino and provided great service for 9months before I switched to pursue a career being a craps dealer ... I do feel I got screwed over I don’t feel I should be homeless during a pandemic but whatever I’ll appreciate any help but if not it’s all good I can get it all back because I’m smart healthy and a hard worker ...

I have been approved twice and denied twice. I appealled 1st but it wouldnt let me appeal 2nd. I appealled 4 months ago. Heard nothing back. Nothing. Is anything going to happen for us waiting?
